After singing Koy’s praises, she continued to perform. The comedian said, “This man opened my heart with love. My life has been forever changed because of him.” “To be loved and adored by @jokoy has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. It was a time when I had lost my faith and confidence in myself, in man, in love and in God. He made me feel more confident about the future. Jo-you opened up my imagination, my passion for working again, being out on the roads again. You also reminded my who I was, always have been and put my feet firmly in the ground.

Handler and Koy’s love story started out with a friendship, with him frequently appearing as a panelist on Chelsea Lately throughout its 2007 to 2014 run. As the My Horizontal Life author told CelebHomes News for her cover story earlier this year, she was perfectly happy being “an emblem of a single woman with no children, to show other women that they don’t have to have children or a husband to have it all.”

During the pandemic, Handler and Koy started hanging out again, with things later turning romantic. The pair made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021.

Even though they no longer live together, they want to be the best for each others. This isn’t the end. Handler shared the following Instagram message: “This is not an ending. Your PERSON WILL COMING. Keep rooting for us because we never know what our lives will bring. So let’s all go to the theatre on August 5th and buy tickets to Jo’s EASTER SONDAY film and Filipino PRIDECELEB HOMES.
