Jen Shah‘s assistant, Stuart SmithHe has pleaded guilty to the charges.
CelebHomes News has been informed by a Clerk in the office of Judge Sidney H. Stein, that Smith changed his plea at a Nov. 19 hearing. In March, the reality star was previously arrested for his alleged involvement in a telemarketing scheme.
Based on People,Smith made a written statement at the hearing. In it, he stated, “I discussed and intended to engage with other individuals to create a plan of operation to get money by false representation, offering and inducing people, many of them over 50, to give money to entities in which I and others were associated.”
Smith stated that Smith later discovered “that these telephone marketing companies were misleading customers by selling individuals (many of whom were over 50) information purportedly to help them improve their business opportunities.”
