Britney Spears is calling on celebrities to speak out against her “abusive” conservatorship.

On Thursday, Nov. 18, Christina Aguilera was talking to the press on the Latin Grammys red carpet when she was asked if she had spoken to Britney since the conservatorship was terminated. Christina’s official publicist responded, saying, “No. We’re not doing this today.” I’m sorry.”

After the singer of “Beautiful” left, she said, “I can’t, but it’s a happy thing for me!”

Britney shared the interview via her Instagram Story the day following the event and voiced disappointment at Christina’s interactions with the media.

Britney wrote, “I love and adore all who supported me,” in the short clip. But refusing to talk when you know truth is the equivalent of a lie !!!”

It’s been 13 years since I was in the corrupt and abusive system. Yet, it seems so difficult for people to speak about. It was me !!!”.
