As the 2022 Beijing Olympics officially kicked things off with the Feb. 4 Opening Ceremony, viewers at home were left rejoicing at the arrival of Jamaica’s four-man bobsled team who will compete in this year’s games for the first time since 1998. At least two Caribbean representatives have been back to the games every year since 2002. 2014, and 2018. In 2018, their two-woman team was their first appearance. After missing qualifying in the quad-man bobsleigh final in 2018, Jamaica is now officially back, and will be setting the ice ablaze. Jamaica will be participating in the bobsleigh for the first time this year. ThreeOlympic bobsled events, including four-man, two man and women’s monobob.
