Jimin declared, “We were devastated at the recent surge in hate crime including Asian American hate crime,” To put an end this hate crime and to support this cause, we would like to use this occasion to once again speak up.

J Hope added, “We are here today thanks to our Army—our fans worldwide—who have different nationalities and cultures and use different languages. Our gratitude is sincere and unending.”

Jungkook shared that the band was “still surprised that music created by South Korean artists reaches so many people around the world…we believe music is always an amazing and wonderful unifier of all things.” Suga added that while it’s okay to have differences, equality starts when people embrace and accept all our differences.
