Here’s the good news: Lisa Kudrow revealed that she would love a revival of Friends. Bad news: The bad news? The 58-year-old actress—who starred as Phoebe Buffay on the hit NBC sitcom—revealed that she “loved” the idea of rebooting the show, but with different actors playing the lead roles.
She stated in an interview that she doesn’t believe Friends will be rebooted. Buzz Where?. “It’s not possible for me to say that with you. It’s just that [Friends creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane]Are writing.”
“But, a reboot…where other actors were hired?” Continued she. It would make me happy. “I would like to know what the current version would look like.”
Let’s face it, we will take whatever you give us!
Kudrow does not plan to play Phoebe again, but she did give us a glimpse of the past in 2020’s HBO Max. The Reunion for Friends.
Kudrow and co-stars reunite with real-life buddies Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry And David Schwimmer for the first time since the series ended 17 years ago.
