Drake made two new friends during a surprise but low-key appearance at the Oklahoma City Thunder’s home game against the Houston Rockets game at the Paycom Center in OKC on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Drizzy was seated courtside with an elderly couple who seemed to have no idea who he was. A video of the man and woman chatting with the rapper was posted on Twitter by Bleacher Report.
The rapper later shared on his Instagram Story a selfie of himself grinning while sitting with the couple, writing, “My new parents.”
They did not make public the identities of both men and women.
Rumble (OKC’s mascot) came up to Drake and shake his hand. After that, Drake resumed their conversation.
The Rockets defeated the Thunder by 114 to 110. Drake later was captured chatting and hugging Oklahoma City player Shai Gilgeous-AlexanderToronto was the birthplace of ‘The Rapper,’ who, like the rapper himself, is a Toronto native.
