Many people mistook actors Randy Quaid and Dennis Quaid for being brothers by blood. Just so happens, they are! We haven’t heard much about Randy. You can, however, see him alongside Chevy Chase (another actor we don’t hear about anymore as well) in Christmas Vacation, Independence Day, Vegas Vacation, and Saturday Night Live 85′-91′. Dennis has had better luck for being in movies, latest being Playing For Keeps and Movie 43. He’s also been starring in “Vegas” as a Sheriff. There’s no news on whether the show will continue or not.
Nonetheless, Dennis has been busy off-screen with divorcing Kimberly Quaid and trying to draw up a compromise policy with her. Part of it was to allow Dennis and Kimberly’s two kids to reside in his 4 bed and 4.5 bath Pacific Palisades home until they’re of legal age. That may be out of the question now, knowing that the 1959 vacation-style pad was sold on 9/13/13 for $3.315 million. A shame for the kids. The place has a swimming pool in the backyard, a hot tub, a large walk-in closet to play hide-and-seek in, and a lush view of the vast landscape of surrounding territory and beyond.
