Bethel died on February 18, from blunt force trauma. A spokesperson for Miami Police Department informs CelebHomes News that Bethel was Miss Alabama in America Strong in 2021. According to the police, Bethel’s death was ruled accidental by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner.
She died a week after officers received a report about possible suicide attempts in Miami’s Edgewater neighbourhood. A preliminary investigation by authorities revealed that Bethel had been seen falling from a third-floor window in a building.
At the time, Bethel was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition. Police said that the 27-year old succumbed seven days later to her injuries.
Bethel’s family previously shared that the former model “sustained severe damage to her brain/brainstem” and was in a coma following what they described as an “accident.” The family of Bethel’s loved ones posted on Instagram the news that they could not repair “the damage” and described it as a “traumatizing circumstance for their family.”
