Beanie FeldsteinFanny Brice’s last curtain call is closer than we expected.
Actress Announced on July 10 that she was quitting the Broadway show Funny Girl at the end of the month. She was initially set up to be the star of September 25.
On Instagram, she said that “Playing Fanny Brice in Broadway was a long-held dream of mine and the past few months have been an incredible joy and true honour.” “When the production wanted to move the show in a new direction, it was incredibly difficult for me to decide to leave sooner than I expected.”
While Feldstein is bowing out sooner that showgoers thought, the memories will last a lifetime.
The experience will be a memory I’ll never forget. Booksmart star continued, “I want to thank every single person who came to the August Wilson for the love and support you have shown me and our amazing cast and crew. It has been a great pleasure to bring joy to the people that I’ve had the privilege of working with. Funny Girl to life with every night, both on and off the stage, are all remarkably talented and exceptional humans and I hope you continue to join them on Henry Street after I depart.”
