Update: Anne Heche‘s condition following her terrifying car crash last week.
She is currently in a critical but stable condition. Six Days and Seven Nights actress’ rep tells CelebHomes News. According to CelebHomes, “She has been in a coma since shortly after the accident and she hasn’t recovered consciousness.”
She also stated that her significant lung injury required mechanical ventilation and that she had burns that would require surgery.
On Aug. 5th, the 53-year-old Emmy winner was driving her blue Mini Cooper when it crashed into a Mar Vista home. The vehicle was moving at an extremely high speed and it “burst in flames, coming to rest inside the home’s two stories,” reported The Los Angeles Fire Department.
Anne, who had sustained severe burns in the accident, was immediately treated at the scene. Anne spoke to first responders, according to the organization.
