It sounds like Indian matchmaking wasn’t a match for everyone.
Aparna Shewakramani, who appeared on the Netflix dating show, is calling out the show and matchmaker Sima TapariaCompletely striking out.
Aparna, who appeared on March 31, stated: “The matchmaker had an 0% success rate so it was possible for me to be in good company together with my castmates who also happen not to have been married.” Tamron Hall. “And, you know that when the success rate is 0%, then we are all in it together.”
This kind of math is hard to dispute!
Indian matchmakingThe series premiered on Netflix July 2020. It featured Sima, a well-known matchmaker, guiding couples in India and the U.S through the process of arranging marriage.
Aparna quickly became the most polarizing person on the show—and it didn’t take long for her to find out.
Tamron told her that “a lot” of people were having a lot problems. They thought I was too fussy and stubborn. I didn’t seem kind, open-minded, or generous enough. Sima says that she does not like my speaking style. That was not what a lot of people liked around the globe. The way that I spoke myself was not liked by them.”
