Elizabeth Holmes may have just been in it for the “Money, Money, Money” but that doesn’t mean Amanda Seyfried is!

Seyfried disclosed on Feb. 24 that she had initially rejected the role of Holmes, disgraced founder and CEO of Theranos. The Dropout. In 2019, it will be back. After Seyfried had been offered the job, Kate McKinnon, who was set to play Holmes, left the project to work on Peacock’s Tiger King–inspired series, Joe vs Carole.

Then, at the beginning, there was Mamma Mia star wasn’t interested.

After her fever had subsided, however, she experienced a complete change in her mind. She explained that she was thinking to herself, “It’s really going to be difficult,” she said. “It is a great challenge. “But I cannot believe I have a chance to face such a difficult challenge.”
