
It’s showtime for Ewan McGregor. Literally!
Showtime has captured the Obi Wan Kenobi star for a TV adaption of Amor Towles‘ best-selling novel Moscow, A GentlemanCelebHomes News has learnt.
McGregor is set to play Count Alexander Rostov, who “in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, finds that his gilded past places him on the wrong side of history,” the network states in an Aug. 25 announcement. However, the description further teases that, through this journey, Rostov will discover “the true value of friendship, family and love.”
McGregor will be more than a star in Moscow: A Gentleman,McGregor is also an executive producer which he loves. McGregor said, in a statement that “it’s an incredible, wonderful story, and I am excited to get the chance to play such as a fantastic role.”
McGregor is making his latest television venture after he revived his beloved Obi Wan Kenobi character for a Star Wars Disney+ miniseries in 2022 Famously, he also portrayed the role of fashion designer Halston Ryan Murphy’s drama biographical on Netflix. McGregor was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award.
