
It’s time to go back to Hawkins
We patiently await season 4 of Stranger Things to hit Netflix, the streamer released first look photos to give us a sneak peek at what’s to come. The fourth season will release in two parts: May 27th and July 1st. The best takeaway is the photos. Sheriff Hopper (Harbour), still exists.
The first volume will pick up six months after the end of season three, where we last saw the cast battling Mind Flayer at the Battle of Starcourt. “Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time—and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier,” according to the official description. A new, terrifying supernatural threat appears in this vulnerable moment, and it presents a horrifying mystery which, if solved might bring an end to the terrors of The Upside Down.”
We can only imagine what we could expect. It seems that there is plenty of horror.
“They’re not kids anymore—they really are full-blown teenagers,” Stranger Things co-creator Matt Duffer told Netflix’s Queue magazine. This is why we lean more towards horror this season. It was their right to be on their own. [version]Of A Nightmare on Elm Street basically.”
