Their red carpet appearance is even more thrilling. This was the Met Gala’s first appearance for Sydney, Maude, and Jacob. So, it makes sense that the trio dressed to the nines, but not all them followed the gilded glamor dress code as part of the In America: An Anthology of Fashion theme.
Maude seemed to be the closest on theme, as she wore a timeless sheer gown and donned an old Hollywood hairstyle that featured sleek waves. Jacob, however, kept it casual and rocked a simple black tuxedo embellished with sequins. He looked amazing, though.
Even though Sydney’s look didn’t exude “The Gilded Age”, it was certainly a fitting ensemble for her. Now we understand why Sydney kept quiet about her Met Gala appearance earlier in April.
