
Legendary actor Tony SiricoAt the age 79, she died.
Sirico’s representative Bob McGowan confirmed the passing to CelebHomes News with a statement on July 8, saying, “Tony was a very loyal client, always gave to charity and was a member of the Wounded Warriors and an Army vet.”
The actor was best known for his portrayal of Paul “Paulie Walnuts” Gualtieri on all six seasons of HBO’s The SopranosBetween 1999 and 2007.
Sirico has appeared in many movies over the span of his career. Goodfellas, Bullets on BroadwayAnd Mighty AphroditeBefore he was given his pivotal role in the mob drama.
After the news about his death broke, many tributes began to pour in from all corners of entertainment, including Sirico’s. Sopranos co-star Michael Imperioli.
On Instagram, Imperioli wrote that Tony was unlike anyone else. He was tough and loyal as well as big-hearted. Through good times and hard times, I was by his side every step of the way. It was mostly good. There were many laughs. As Christopher and Paulie, we found our groove and I’m proud to report that I shared a lot my most enjoyable and best work with Tony.
