The message from the 23-year old, which was posted on Facebook, read: “As you know, I had the need to postpone my past weeks of shows because I wasn’t fully prepared for the toll being back on the roads would take on me,” TwitterInstagram and began. “I was excited about this tour after taking a break from the pandemic. However, I didn’t realize how hard touring after that time.
Mendes went on to note that, after speaking with his team and a group of health professionals, it became clear that he needs to take more time to “ground” himself and “come back stronger than ever.”
