Blair wrote in the book that she was raped several times and that these assaults were a contributing factor to her addiction. These were the things that I tried to forget. She wrote that she didn’t drink to get attention. “I drank so I wouldn’t be noticed.” The actress said she drank heavily throughout elementary school, middle school, high school and college and that the desire to drink often stayed with her for more than 20 years, Today reported.
Guthrie told her, “It wasn’t easy.” “I don’t know. Maybe it was simpler. Perhaps I wouldn’t have made it without my drink.
