9-1-1Fans bid farewell Michael Grant 

On Nov. 15, Rockmond DunbarAs a FOX series regular, he made his last appearance 9-1-1. His Unprecedented departures from firefighter drama follow the COVID-19 mandate. Deadline reports that Dunbar is not an anti-vaxxer and had requested both religious and medical exemptions from the mandate, which were denied. 

Dunbar released a statement on Nov. 16 explaining his reasons for leaving the show. Dunbar stated, “I applied to religious and medical accommodations pursuant the law but unfortunately was denied by My Employer.” “My private medical history and deeply held beliefs are personal and intimate parts of my life, which I am not willing to share publicly. 

Dunbar continued, “I’ve been an actor in this business for 30 years, but my greatest roles are as a husband and father to our four small children. A man who believes in God, I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life.
