On TV, there’s now a “A” new.
Pretty Little Liars debuted July 28 on HBO Max, introducing viewers to a new crop of Liars—including Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles Maia Reficco—that are being terrorized by a masked assailant.
Why? Why? A group of teenage girls from different backgrounds find themselves being tortured by an unknown. They were made to pay the price for their secret crime two decades back by their parents…as well their own.”
This new “A” might have some connection to Angela Waters’ tragic 1999 death or could be completely unrelated. In the first episode we learn that Karen was (Mallory BechtelImogen Madison hates Imogen because she kissed her boyfriend. She also suspiciously delivers the first note from “A,” which results in Imogen’s mother killing herself.
Later, “A” kills Karen. But could it be that her conniving sister Kelly (also played By Bechtel), is the perpetrator? Are they both in the same boat?
