Nicola Peltz Beckham wants the world to know that’s it’s okay not to feel okay.
The Transformers The star at 27, shared her vulnerability in an Instagram post that showed how she copes with difficult times and those who attempt to make it worse. Nicola shared her story with a series photos of her crying in bed, accompanied by a stuffed pet.
In her August 5th post, she wrote that “Sometimes… it is hard to show all the good parts of me.” Growing up in a family of seven brothers and sisters, with two strong parents made me tough. They drilled it into my soul to make sure I didn’t let anyone bring down my spirit or break mine. This made it necessary for me to put up such a barrier in order to defend myself, particularly in the industry.
She hopes to remove this barrier as she moves forward.
She continued, “We all have bad days and people can make us feel awful. It’s normal to hurt,” This is the side I have never shown. I was trying to share this side of myself. Thank you so very much for your love and support.
