Officially, the winner of Miss USA 2021 has been declared.
Miss Kentucky Elle SmithThe title was won by Miss North Dakota at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa. Caitlyn Vogel was named the runner-up, followed by Miss Florida Ashley Carino and Miss Illinois Sydni Bennett.
After receiving the honor, Smith received the Mouawad Miss USA Power of Positivity Crown. According to Smith, the crown was made in 18-karat and set with white diamants. It features floral motifs such as leaves and vines. The crown also contains blue tanzanite, rubies and sapphires. According to company, it pays homage to the United States flag with the inclusion of star and jewel motifs in the design.
Smith, who is a journalist at WHAS11 News in Louisville, succeeds Miss USA 2020 Asya Branch. Smith will be competing in Miss Universe in Israel in December. Andrea MezaMiss Universe is currently the title.
