Tuesday January 18th, 2008 Bullstar Michael Weatherly took to Twitter to announce that the legal drama will come to an end in 2022. In a statement, Weatherly revealed that he’s “decided it’s time to pursue new creative challenges and bring [Dr. Jason Bull’s]”The story is over.”
“It was an honour to work alongside this talented cast, crew, and writing/producing group.” he wrote“Who helped to reinvent legal drama. Stay tuned for a big series finish…Thanks to all the fans from the bottom of my heart. We will continue to be grateful for your support. Bull family!”
CBS went on to confirm Weatherly’s statement, as they expressed a similar sentiment, writing, “For six seasons, BullWith its unique take on the judiciary process that has never been seen before on TV, it is proving to be a huge ratings success.
