Michael C. Hall, who plays a serial killer on Showtime’s hit series Dexter, just purchased a beautiful mansion in Los Feliz, California for $3.825 million.
The Spanish Colonial mansion built in 1923, has been beautifully restored and updated since it was originally built. The 5,618 square foot home has four bedrooms, including the master suite. The home also includes formal living and dining rooms, media/recreation room and maid’s quarters.
Michael C. Hall’s television roles include David Fisher on the HBO drama series Six Feet Under and Dexter Morgan on the Showtime series Dexter. In 2009, Hall won a Golden Globe award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in Dexter.
Hall’s acting career began in the theater. Off-Broadway, he appeared in Macbeth and Cymbeline at the New York Shakespeare Festival, and in Timon of Athens and Henry V at The Public Theater.
Michael C. Hall’s film credits include the 2003 thriller Paycheck, the 2009 science fiction thriller Gamer, the 2011 comedy Peep World and the 2011 drama The Trouble with Bliss.
On May 1, 2003, Hall married actress Amy Spanger, he played Billy Flynn opposite her Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago the summer after their wedding. The couple separated in 2005 and filed for divorce in 2006. On December 31, 2008, he eloped with Jennifer Carpenter, who plays the character of Dexter Morgan’s adoptive sister, Debra Morgan, on Showtime’s Dexter. They dated for a year prior to getting married. In December 2010, Hall and Carpenter released a statement announcing that they had filed for divorce after having been separated “for some time”.
Last year, the 42-year-old actor sold his $2 million Hollywood Hills home during his short-lived marriage to Carpenter.
He is currently dating novelist girlfriend Morgan Macgregor and went public with their relationship in September 2012.
Hall is also set to star in an upcoming drama called I Fought The Law alongside Malin Acherman, which will release in 2014.
