CBS cancelled the Jay Hernandez-led Magnum P.The reboot came after the completion of four seasons in May. Deadline reports that NBC and USA Network may now be interested in the series. 

The publication reports that ever since the cancelation, Universal Television, who co-created the series, has been looking for a new home for Magnum P. According to reports, “conversations continue and are in advanced stages.” Paramount+, while USA is the clear frontrunner, remains a possibility.

What date will this decision be taken? All that matters is whether CBS studios agrees to a deal by June 30.

The reboot—which premiered in 2018—is a modern take on the classic Tom SelleckFrom 1980 to 1987, it was a CBS-produced series featuring a female-led cast. The story follows Thomas Magnum (played by Hernandez), a decorated ex-Navy SEAL, who returns home after serving in Afghanistan and repurposes some of his military skills to become an Oahu private investigator.
