In unsealed court records, they argued that the documents would “smear” Mr. Depp as a result of a guilty by association theory. According to the filing, it said that Marilyn Manson’s attempts to be inserted into the case by Ms. Heard were without foundation. It was also speculative. This is improper character evidence.
Manson has been publicly accused of sexual abuse by multiple women, including his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood. The rocker was born Brian WarnerIn a public statement last year, Wood strongly refuted the accusations and described them as “horrible distortions in reality”. In March, he filed a defamation lawsuit against Wood over her claims of abuse.

Unsealed court records reviewed by Page Six NewsweekHeard’s lawyers claimed the 21 Jump Street alum suffered from erectile dysfunction and that “such condition absolutely is relevant to sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s anger and use of a bottle to rape Amber Heard.”
Depp, who was taking part in the Virginia six-week trial, denied Heard’s “heinous allegations of violence, and sexual violence” that he said he had attributed to him. Depp said, “I don’t think anybody enjoys being forced to tell the truth. But there are times when it becomes too much.” Horrible. Ridiculous. Humiliating. Ludicrous. Painful. Savage. Inhumanely brutal. All false and cruel.”
During his testimony, Depp also denied allegations of sexual battery and physical abuse made by Heard.
