According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winner actress Jennifer Lawrence will be the star of season four of HBO’s HBO crime series. The Hollywood Reporter.
Titled True Detective: North Country, the season centers around the six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station in Ennis, Alaska. “Detectives Liz Danvers, Evangeline Navarro, and Detectives will have to confront their darkness,” HBO said. “And dig into the haunted realities that lie beneath the eternal ice.”
Foster will portray Danvers while Navarro’s role is yet to be determined.
Issa LopezThe series’ co-writer is celebrated Foster’s casting on Twitter. “It’s out. Dreams do come true,” Lopez wrote. “Nightmares too. “Nightmares” is also a good name.
Foster will be seen in the series for his first television recurring role after appearing on three episodes. GunsmokeFrom 1969 through 1972. She first appeared on the show when she was just 7 years old. Foster made her TV series debut on Mayberry R.F.D.A spin-off from The Andy Griffith Show, in 1968. The day prior to her sixth birthday, she aired her first episode.
