Chris Rock has hit the stage once again—and this time,HeI was the one who received a standing ovation.

He began his set of standup performances at Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, where he was 57. It was his first show in five years. Confidentially, it was also the first time audiences got a glimpse of—and heard from—Chris himself just days after his onstage altercation with Will SmithAt the 2022 Oscars

Standing ovation received by the crowd at 10:05 p.m., comedian came out and shaken hands with those sitting in front of him before getting into his performance. He began by laughingly asking the audience “Wooooo.” It was hilarious! Your weekend?”

He paused and said, “I had a show written before this whole nonsense happened.” Chris said that Chris doesn’t want to talk about the nonsense.
