Hayden Panettiere is helping her ex Wladimir Klitschko stand with Ukraine.
April 22nd, Nashville Star uploaded a Wladimir video, which was taken by a native Ukrainian, to Instagram, with the caption: “A message from @WladimirKlitschko – on the ground, #Ukraine”
“Thank you to Hoplon international for all the help and support that we have received here in Ukraine,” the former professional boxer said in the video. Thank you so much for providing the emergency med kits as well as the bulletproof vests. They are saving our lives. Many thanks. Please keep supporting us.”
Kaya, a seven-year-old girl from the former marriage, is now their daughter.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. Hayden created Hoplon International the following month in March in order to raise money for protective gear and medical supplies for Eastern European troops. The nonprofit collects donations that “immediately fund life-saving supplies, from body armor to combat medical kits,” reads its mission statement. We are able to assess critical resources quickly and coordinate their distribution through our networks within Ukraine.
