Kyle asks, “You are saying we don’t know the facts that these people weren’t paid? These victims?”
Erika responds, “That’s correct.” “Exactly right.”
Dorit adds in a confused tone, “You mean they might be lying?” Erika responds, “There is a possibility.”
Erika says, “We still haven’t got all the facts. I’m saying that.” It’s not over. “It doesn’t really matter what anyone claims.”
Garcelle is not buying it. She confesses, in confessional: “These victims, they are normal people. Why would they want to go after Tom?” If they got paid, why would these lawsuits be filed? They’d just continue living their lives.”
