A home fit for a king! The former Beverly Hills estate of the “King of Rock and Roll”, Elvis Presley, has been put on the market for $12.995 million. Presley shared this Trousdale property with his wife Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie in the late 1960s.
Elvis bought the estate at 1174 N Hillcrest Rd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 for $400,000 in 1967, the same year he married Priscilla. The home sits on a 1.18 acre of land that overlooks a view of the city and the ocean in the Trousdale Estates.
Built in 1958 this 5,367 square feet home has floor to ceiling windows and walls of glass in every room. This 4 bedroom and 5 bath boasts a formal living room with a fireplace, dining room, family room, office and media room. Included on the property is an attached guest house with bath, a large motor court and a four car carport. Elvis remained in the house after he and Priscilla divorced on February 23, 1972.
Trousdale Estates was and is still very popular with the stars, when Elvis lived there some of his neighbors were Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Curtis and Ray Charles. Today the neighborhood is home to stars like Jennifer Aniston, David Spade and designer Vera Wang.
