Drew Barrymore has listed the Montecito, California home where she got married in just last year.

Barrymore is listing the home she bought in June 2010 for $5.705 million and hoping to get $7.5 million for it. The estate is far removed from the buzz of Hollywood on a secluded 2 acres which turned out to be ideal for a private wedding away from the prying eye of the paparazzi.

The roomy 6,258 square foot home was built in 1937 and has six bedrooms, with seven and a half bathrooms. The home has a dramatic foyer with a grand staircase and it features an exquisite wood-paneled living room and a study. The grounds feature a spacious lawn with a grove of citrus and avocado trees.

Drew Barrymore is the granddaughter of film legend John Barrymore, but she has made her own name in the film industry. She made her film debut in Altered States in 1980, then she starred in her breakout role in Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and endeared herself to film audiences in her role as Gertie. She quickly became one of Hollywood’s most recognized child actresses, going on to establish herself in mainly comic roles.

In 1997 Drew Barrymore and business partner Nancy Juvonen formed the production company Flower Films. The production company has gone on to produce popular films including Charlie’s Angels, 50 First Dates and Music and Lyrics, as well as cult film Donnie Darko.

Drew Barrymore married art consultant Will Kopelman, the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman on June 2, 2012 in her Montecito, California home. The couple’s welcomed their first child, a daughter named Olive Barrymore Koelman, on September 26, 2012.
