Like the Carradine lineage, the Cusacks (John, Joan, Bill, Ann, and Susie) made quite an impact on cinema (and having an army of their own). Despite Bill and Susie’s movie careers being short-lived, the other Cusacks managed to do the Cusack name proud. John’s schedule’s actually filled for 2014 and has a project for 2015. Joan has a movie coming out in 2014 and another in 2015. Ann will be in a TV movie alongside Daniel Stern, another actor we miss. And, like the Carradines, the Cusacks had an estate of theirs up for sale which happened to be their childhood home. The two-story estate was purchased for $980,000 just a week ago.
It’s 3,191 sq ft of childhood home goodness. It actually looks and feels like an 80’s/90’s sitcom prop, which is cool. Built in 1910, it has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and sits tall on 0.28 acres. The home has much to give: little breakfast area, office/den, large attic, formal dining, fireplaces, large patio and BBQ area, and balcony views. The nearby park (Clark Square Park) overlooks Lake Michigan. For what the Cusack childhood home in Evanston offers, the price tag’s appropriate.
