YouTube has lost one of their own.
YouTuber and self-proclaimed relationship guru Kevin SamuelsAtlanta police confirmed the death.
The Atlanta Police Department stated that they had been called by “a person hurt” to respond to an emergency at a house on May 5. Officers arrived to perform CPR on an unconscious Black man lying on his floor. Samuels was identified by a woman present at the scene.
According to the police report, the unidentified woman—who is a nurse—told officers that she tried to help Samuels after he complained about having chest pain, but that he fell on her. According to her, she called 911 for help and requested a defibrillator at the front desk to ensure Samuels was responsive to medical attention.
The police said Samuels was taken by officers to Piedmont Hospital. NBC News contacted the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on May 6, but they did not confirm or deny any information.
