Sheen was featured in 177 episodes Two and Half Men from 2003 to 2011 alongside co-stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, Holland Taylor and Conchata Ferrell. In fact, Lorre said the unique synergy between the cast is what helped pull him back.

“The chemistry between him Jon and Angus and Holland Taylor,” Lorre said, “and, oh my goodness, Conchata Ferrell, who has passed away. The cast was beautiful.”

Sheen’s character was eliminated from the show. Ashton KutcherFor the four final seasons of 2011 through 2015, he was replaced by Kutcher. Kutcher played Walden Schmidt, a billionaire who bought the house owned by Sheen’s character following his death.

In 2013, Sheen attempted to mend fences with Lorre, tweeting: “Hey Chuck. After I apologize to yours and to my family, I have an idea I think u should hear. That I’ll do personally. “xox, c” 

While it is not known if Lorre and the other man ever knew each other, Lorre now watches reruns from the hit show. Maybe bygones will finally become bygones.
