18 years later, Chris WallaceFox News has fired him and he is now heading to CNN’s streaming service.

It Fox News Sunday host announced his departure at the end of his show on Sunday, Dec. 12. 

He stated, “It will be the last time. I am so sad. Fox has been my home for 18 years. I am leaving. “I want to be a pioneer in something else, beyond politics and all things that interest me. I am open for new adventures. 

Calling his time at Fox News “a great ride,” Wallace added that during his time at the cable news network, he “covered five presidential elections, interviewed every President since George H. W. Bush,” and “traveled the world,” sitting down with French President Emmanuel Macron and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

Wallace was a moderator at multiple presidential debates in 2016 and 2020. Fox News has not named a replacement host.
