Chris Evans, who is best known for playing Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers has purchased a new home in the Hollywood Hills for $3.52 million. The home just happens to be right down the street from former girlfriend Jessica Biel and husband Justin Timberlake.
The 4,599 square foot home comes with a pool, a spa, four bedrooms and three baths, including a master suite with a dressing room and steam shower. The kitchen features high-end wolf appliances and Italian marble counters.
Situated above Laurel Canyon, the home is completely walled and gated with with breathtaking views of the mountains.
According to property records, Chris Evans won the home in a bidding war. The home was first sold for $1.9 million in June 2012 and the new owners appear to have flipped it in less than a year, listing it in February for $3.5 million. Evans reportedly paid an extra $20,000 to ensure he would get the estate.
Chris Evans is best known for his superhero roles as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and Steve Rogers / Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Marvel’s The Avengers (2012). He will reprise this role in 2014 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Evans began his career on the television series Opposite Sex (2000) and later transitioned to film, appearing in Not Another Teen Movie (2001),Fierce People (2005), Sunshine (2007), Push (2009), The Losers (2010), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and What’s Your Number?(2011).
Along with actress Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans is part of the advertising campaign for the perfume Gucci Guilty.
From 2004 to 2006, Evans dated actress Jessica Biel and began dating actress Minka Kelly in September 2012 after briefly dating her in 2007.
