What can you say about Charlie Sheen that hasn’t already been said? Well, probably not a whole lot. One thing you can say about the original “Bad Boy” actor is, he does have some taste when it comes to homes. Of course there is his good taste in “Goddesses” but that tale is for a different time.

Purchased in 2011, Sheen’s home in Beverly Hills is said to have set him back $7.5 million. The home is a 10,000 square foot beauty that was once owned by Mike Medavoy, the producer of the Oscar nominated film Black Swan. The luxurious 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom Mediterranean mansion features a full chef’s kitchen, study room, gym, and a game and media room.

Outdoors there is a beautiful landscaped yard, professional outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining area and a pool with a spa. The home was built in 1992 and sits on a 20,203 square foot lot in the gated community of Mulholland Estates.

Charlie Sheen got his start in acting with his role in the 1984 teen drama Red Dawn with Patrick Swayze. Sheen went on have roles in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) and Platoon (1986). In 1987, he starred along with his father Martin Sheen, in Wall Street. Charlie Sheen has shown a wide variety of talents in playing different types of roles from drama to comedy.

Of course no article about Charlie Sheen would be complete without mentioning some of the controversy that has followed the actor over the years. Sheen has always had a bad boy image stemming from drug use, drinking and his involvement with a list of beautiful women. The most publicized and famous of these escapades would be his notorious “meltdown” in the spring of 2011 when Warner Bros. cancelled the last four remaining episodes of his TV show Two and a Half Men after Sheen underwent a substance rehab program in his home which was his third attempt at rehab in 12 months. This cancellation unleashed a string of bizarre rants and videos from the actor which resulted in him being fired from the show and later replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

Ironically enough Sheen is starring in a new TV show called Anger Management which seems to be doing quite well.
