It’s been a hard knock life for Cameron Diaz’s fans since she retired.

Cameron shared her reasons for leaving the acting industry in a recent interview.
“When you’re doing something that you know and you’ve done well and you know how it works—and it’s consumed your whole life for so long—it’s kind of a nice thing to kind of go, ‘You know what? Take a step back and see what my whole situation looks like. Are there any things I can do to make it more enjoyable? Cameron spoke to CBS News. Cameron said, “And that I did.”
Cameron was just 21 when she made her acting début in 1994’s film. The Mask. Shortly thereafter, she was starring in films such as Mary has Something Special Charlie’s Angels.
