Britney Spears has scored another legal victory.

CelebHomes News attended a Los Angeles court hearing July 27. Judge Brenda Penny ruled that the pop star will not have to sit for a deposition in her conservatorship case.

Britney’s father Jamie Spears originally filed a motion that his daughter be deposed as he gathers evidence in his defense against the surveillance allegations made against him in his former role as conservator of Britney’s estate.

Jamie’s lawyer maintained that Jamie did nothing wrong in his conservatorship. It was ended in November 2021 after 13 years. He also stated that Jamie “will be vindicated.”

Britney’s attorney is present at court Mathew Rosengart Jamie made a plea for decency to ask him to withdraw his request. He stated that his daughter felt traumatized after what he did for her for over a decade. Britney would be re-traumatized by a deposition, he argued.

The judge ultimately ruled in favor of Britney, saying Jamie’s defense will be limited to other sources. Britney was not required to give Jamie her address as it was considered irrelevant.
