The Voll House stars founded The Row in 2006. Five years later, Mary-Kate made her final film appearance in The Beastly

Mary-Kate (now Ashley) and Ashley are very private since they left Hollywood. In June, Mary-Kate told i-D magazine they are simply “discreet people,” adding, “That’s how we were raised.” She believes they are “bit out practice” with interviews.
Ashley stated that their brand is not about them, but the clothes should speak for themselves.
We did not want to stand in front of the product, nor were we willing to reveal that it was us. It was all about the product. To the point that we thought: Who can we ask to be in front of it so we don’t have? she shared, saying they created The Row with the goal of “making something of ourselves.”
