The first round of performers for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards have been announcedAnd the exciting list is full of fan-favorites: Anitta, J Balvin, Marshmello, Khalid and Panic! Panic!All are set to take the stage at Sunday’s Aug. 28 concert.
Anitta will be performing this performance on the main awards stage for the first time. She’ll also perform “Envolver”, her hit song. But, that’s not all, since the 29-year-old is also nominated for her first VMA in the “Best Latin Artist” category—making her the first Brazilian artist to be nominated for the trophy.
J Balvin is another chart-topping artist who will be on the scene to perform his song “Nivel de Perreo.” Ryan Castro. This will be his first performance. 13-timeThe VMAs Stage will welcome back nominee and five-time winner since 2019.
J Balvin, however, isn’t the only artist who wants to return triumphantly.
