While it’s her first album since her marriage to and subsequent split from ex Simon KoneckiIt’s not a divorcing album.
She said, “I believe I am divorcing myself on this.” Oprah Winfrey during her CBS Just One Night special. Half of all song titles contain the words “I”, “Me”, or “My”.
She also dedicates the album to her son of nine years, AngeloShe said that it was about her, but not him. It’s all about me.
“I just wanted him to hear me talking madly, deeply about who I am and how I feel,” Adele further explained during her special. He can listen and I don’t know how I would ever have the chance to talk with him.
