When it comes to actors that can take over a movie and hold the audience enthralled with their ability, Robin Williams fits the bill. At 61 and recently married for the third time, Williams might be thinking that it is time for him to start moving toward a little more modest lifestyle. This could be the reason for him recently listing his massive 20,000 square foot mansion that sits on a 654 acre estate with a 24 acre vineyard. Listed by Sotheby’s for $35 million, the home boasts five bedrooms, with 6 full bathrooms and 6 partial baths, a library, extravagant home theater, elevator, art and wine cellars, bridge gallery and viewing tower.

The lavish and sprawling grounds contain a solar farm, natural lake, infinity pools, sculpture gardens and a three bedroom home for the property manager in addition to a Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard.

Williams got married for the third time on October 23, 2011 in Napa Valley at Meadowood Resort to graphic designer Susan Schneider. Williams has three children, son Zachary, 29, daughter Zelda, 23, and son Cody, 20, all from previous marriages.

Robin Williams rose to fame with his role as the alien Mork in the TV series Mork & Mindy. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 1997 film Good Will Hunting. During his career to date he has also won two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and five Grammy Awards.

One of Williams’ most memorable portrayals is the loveable 60 year old British nanny, Euphegenia Doubtfire in Mrs. Doubtfire, who Williams dresses up as to be able to be a part of his children’s lives while going through problems with his wife, played by Sally Field.

Williams is scheduled to play Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming Lee Daniels film The Butler which is due out next year.
