Socialite and heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune, Nicky Hilton, has sold her home in Hollywood Hills West for $2.625 million after having to lower the price by $250,000 earlier this year. The home was originally listed in July for $2.95 million.
Hilton bought the home in 2007 for $2.8 million. The traditional two story home features three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, den, a gym, a formal dining room. Also included in the 4, 072 square foot home is an eat in kitchen with an island, four ovens and a large pantry.
Nicky Hilton had the “elegant traditional” home sold through her father’s real estate brokerage firm of Hilton & Hyland, where her father is the chairman. The home was decorated by Faye Resnick, who is a friend of the Hiltons and was used by Paris and aunt Kyle Richards to redesign their homes. Ms Resnick, who wa best friends with the late Nicole Brown Simpson and also occasionally appears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills chose a monochromatic colour scheme with heavy chrome accents throughout the house.
In 2004, Hilton launched her own clothing line and designed a line of handbags for Japanese company Samantha Thavasa. In 2005, Hilton modeled for an Australian underwear line called Antz Pantz along with Kimberly Stewart. The same year she also modeled for the cover of Lucire for its New Zealand and Romanian editions.
In August of 2004, Nicky Hilton married her childhood friend and businessman Todd Andrew Meister at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The marriage was annulled nearly three months later, with Hilton and Meister explaining they traveled apart often and had married “on a whim”. In 2007, she began a relationship with producer David Katzenberg, which ended on mutual terms in 2011.
