Comedian and actor Albert Brooks has listed his beautiful Bel Air home for a second time. Brooks bought the spectacular home from Merv Griffin in 1993, when the house was 3 years old. Asking $7 million, the same price he asked the first time around for the 5,100 square foot ranch back in March of this year.

The estate has four bedrooms and five bathrooms with 20 foot ceilings and copious glass windows that look out over the two acre lot it sits on, which includes lawn space, a tennis court and an infinity pool. Not being able to sell the first time around isn’t any fault of this beautiful modernist lodge but rather the effect of a sluggish California real estate market.

Albert Brooks is an experienced writer, comedian and director who has also lent his voice to the animated characters of Marlin the Clownfish in Finding Nemo and guest voices on the animated television series The Simpson’s.

The magnificent property is located in Bel Air, an affluent community that is also home stars Nicolas Cage, Clint Eastwood and Pierce Brosnan. Past stars that called the neighborhood home were, Ronald Reagan, Henry Fonda and Cary Grant.
